Sizing & Fit GuideUpdated 3 hours ago

Even if shoe lengths are roughly identical across brands, shoe sizes are not fully standardized. This can lead to small differences between categories, styles, and manufacturers. The shape of the shoe also affects how a size feels:

  • A narrow shape can make the shoe feel smaller.

  • A wide shape can make it feel larger

Your feet also change over time—they may get wider or longer as you age. For the best fit, LOWA recommends trying on shoes in person with the socks you plan to wear.

Men's: Wide = E/EE Narrow = C Medium = D

Women's: Wide = C Narrow = A Medium = B

MEDIUM/STANDARD: The standard last is best suited for medium-width feet. It is the jack-of-all-trades among lasts and is used for most LOWA-shoes.

All LOWA boots are sized using U.S. sizing, even though they are made in Europe. Use our detailed size chart to help select the right size:

Tip: Try on shoes in the afternoon, when your feet may have naturally swollen slightly during the day.
